Ginny Franklin

Ginny lived most of her adult life in Raleigh and raised her four children here. She graduated summa cum laude from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and later graduated with highest honors from Biola University with a Master of Arts in Science and Religion. She has always loved reading, literature, and learning and became interested in classical education in the early 2000s. Ginny classically homeschooled her daughters for much of their education; after her older daughter went to college, Kirstin (Class of 2016) began high school at 91制片厂 and Ginny started teaching here the next year.

I truly loved the time I spent at 91制片厂 as a parent and as a teacher. From the perspective of a parent, my daughter Kirstin had a formative, rigorous, and Christ-centered education that we are both grateful for. She was well prepared in every way for her time at UNC Chapel Hill and her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, and she is thriving at a group therapy practice in Charlotte. During my nine years at 91制片厂, I taught for a few years in the Lower School and then moved to the Upper School where I primarily taught Logic, Literature, and Senior Thesis. Teaching in both Upper and Lower School and working in curriculum development has given me a unique perspective of and love for 91制片厂. From my viewpoint as a former teacher and parent, the diligence of the teaching faculty and their genuine love and care for the students and each other, along with the friendly and supportive community of families, are what make 91制片厂 an exceptional place.
