Academic Advising
Through group and individual meetings, the College Counseling program helps students set personal goals, make sound course registration decisions, and reflect on their strengths, areas for growth, interests, and study habits.

Meet Our Team
It鈥檚 a privilege and a joy to help guide 91制片厂鈥檚 high schoolers to invest prayerfully in their academic, spiritual, and extracurricular opportunities. When they do, their gifts, interests, and virtues deepen, and their relationship with Christ matures. First and foremost, these are beautiful blessings. And it just so happens that such qualities are ones that colleges love to see in their applicants.


Warren Gould, Director of College Counseling
Warren has taught English, coached, and served as an academic dean, a division head, and, at three schools, a college counselor. Holding a BA in English from Davidson College and an MA in Literature from Kings College London, Mr. Gould earned a second MA in Educational Leadership from Columbia University鈥檚 Teachers College, where he was a Klingenstein Fellow in a cohort of domestic and international private school leaders. He also was awarded a National Endowment for the Humanities fellowship for summer study of literature at Oxford University. Mr. Gould and his wife Becky have three sons and are active at their church鈥攕he as director of congregational care and he as an elder and in men鈥檚 ministry, adult Sunday School, and the choir.
Heather Kirks, College Counseling Program Manager
Heather Kirks brings a diverse background that includes health services and business ownership, along with her role as a parent. She started her career in higher education, holding leadership and administrative positions at UNC-Chapel Hill, NC State, and Cal State, where she discovered her interest in supporting students and faculty. As both a parent and volunteer at 91制片厂 for over fifteen years, she is dedicated to helping others through transitions. In her personal time, Heather enjoys exploring creative pursuits, and her artistic touch can be found in various projects and activities around campus.
